Being like-minded with clients is always something that you hope and strive for when working on a creative branding initiative, and Compass Builders was a perfect match for The Idea Boutique. Known for its high quality of building multimillion dollar homes for over 25 years is a testament to the builder’s staying power and why it has remained in business throughout changing economic cycles. We wanted the creative presentation of Compass Builders’ work to showcase how different it is from any other builder. This is a family owned and operated business with immense pride in maintaining an excellent reputation. We love working with clients who are craftsmen at heart, as we consider this to be one of the core principles of our own approach to business. Creating something that is unique, customized, and reflective of a respective brand is what we do best.
How do you make a design and building firm stand out from the crowd? You approach the branding project the same way that they do: build a strong foundation and prepare to build upon it with storytelling, imagery, high quality, size, and a concept that reflects the client and their business. This is one of our favorite projects to date, as it stands the test of time and communicates the high quality of Compass Builders. The creative concept was to have each hammer and nail be recognized as a key component to building a home—to let the smallest details of all that encompasses a building speak and showcase how no detail is too small and that everything must work in concert.
Quality is in the details, and we were proud to communicate this in our branding explorations and final product. Suede-like cream paper, vivid pops of color throughout, and storytelling set this presentation apart from the competition and let Compass Builders continue to shine brightly.
