Burwell Associates, Inc., a licensed architecture firm based in Northwest Florida, engaged The Idea Boutique for new branding and a website. This followed on the heels of a photo shoot to showcase Burwell Associates’ work on the VIE magazine office in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, designed by the firm’s owner/lead architect, Gerald Burwell. The Burwell Associates rebranding initiative started with a refreshed logo design. The Idea Boutique wanted to keep the brand’s integrity and reputation as Burwell Associates has been in practice for over two decades. The solution was creating a simplified, modernized version of the company’s original stacked “BA” logo mark. The new mark lives inside an outlined circle, with the company name simplified for a sleek, clean look that reflects the brand’s high-quality designs. Alongside the logo refresh came a brand-new website built at BurwellAssociates.com. The top priority for the site was to create an online portfolio where clients and potential clients of Burwell Associates could easily browse the firm’s work. A clean design shows large-scale photography for each portfolio project. User-friendly navigation clearly shows the website’s About, Portfolio, Services, and Contact pages so viewers can quickly and easily find what they need.
