Some of the most important truths in life can be revealed to us in moments of deep sorrow. In his memoir, Facade, author Bill Wade shares his personal struggle with faith during the long illness and death of his son, John. A remarkable work of beauty, Facade speaks to those who have suffered great loss or questioned Godʼs will or existence.
The Idea Boutique had the honor of editing, designing, and publishing this touching book that speaks to the heart of grief. Billʼs youngest child, John, succumbed to cystic fibrosis at the age of fifteen. Johnʼs mother, Noel, and older brother, Galen, also give voice to the sorrow and melancholy felt by anyone who has ever lost a loved one. We worked closely with Bill to ensure his vision and message were conveyed in a poignant and tasteful way. Publishing included securing copyrights and ISBN registration with the Library of Congress. The Idea Boutique team also created a website to promote the book, held author signings, and performed other marketing duties. All author’s proceeds from the sale of Facade went to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
