The Panama City Beach CVB recommended The Idea Boutique to Destination Panama City for an exciting new ad campaign. The mission was to spotlight Panama City’s vibrant downtown area and position it as a thriving destination for small businesses, dining, culture, music, and art. With the stunning backdrop of St. Andrew Bay and the nearby Gulf of Mexico, we were tasked with capturing the area’s unique vibe—distinct from, but complementary to, the more tourist-focused Panama City Beach.
The goal was to inspire beachgoers to venture inland for day trips or even stay in downtown Panama City during their vacations. Our solution was a bold, catchy tagline—“It’s a Vibe.” This simple yet powerful phrase perfectly encapsulated downtown’s laid-back yet lively spirit. We translated this message into a comprehensive campaign, including print ads, billboards, rack cards, and other marketing materials that spoke to the heart of Panama City’s identity.
Fast forward to 2024: the Destination Panama City campaign is still going strong, continuing to attract visitors and elevate the city’s downtown as a must-visit destination. We’re proud to have played a key role in helping Panama City make its mark as a must-visit, happening hotspot.
